Garage Door Requirements

A request was made by a homeowner to the Property Manager that
an article be placed in this newsletter concerning the appearance of
garage doors on homes in Belcaro.

The Belcaro Rules and Regulations dated January 2009 (page 8,
Exterior Appearance Requirements, item 9) states:

“Garage doors shall remain closed except as reasonably required for
entry or departure or when performing chores (i.e. cleanup, yard
maintenance, car washing, etc.).”

Towing

Towing signs that comply with the California Vehicle Code have been
posted at both entrances to the Belcaro community.

Beginning immediately, vehicles that are illegally parked in the
Belcaro Community will be towed in accordance to the Belcaro
Governing Documents and the California Vehicle Code.

Selling Your Home

Please keep in mind that the Belcaro Garden Society has Rules and
Regulations regarding “For Sale” signs.

Each homeowner is allowed only one “For Sale” sign in front of their
home.  

If your realtor is holding open houses:

They may not - put up signs and flags throughout the property.  

They may - post a sign outside of the property and provide the guard
house with flyers showing directions to where the open house is
located within the community.  

The homeowner and their realtor are also required to sign a Belcaro
For Sale Sign Form stating that they understand the “For Sale“ sign
Rules and Regulations of the Belcaro Garden Society.  

This form may be obtained from the guard on duty, Vanessa at the
Grove House, or Property Management.
