Sit 'n b' fit, Stretch and Tone

Description: This new class is a stretch program designed for the 55 plus
population. The focus of this class is to improve flexibility, agility, balance,
strength, range of motion, and activities of daily living.

The instructor, Linda Bennett, is certified by the Arthritis Foundation, the
American Red Cross, and board certified American Council on Exercise since
1986.

T' ai Chi

Description: The ancient, graceful movements of t' ai chi are based on
traditional Chinese medicine, and it's known throughout Chinese culture as
"moving acupuncture."

T' ai Chi emphasizes physical and mental relaxation in continuous rhythmic
positions that lead to deeper, more harmonious breathing. The subtle
succession of patterns and postures create a flowing dance that attunes the
different organs and systems of the body to more holistic functioning.

T' ai Chi instructor Sarah Lowman began studying with internationally
renowned third-generation Grand Master Kai Ying Tung in 1973, and continues
to study with him today.
